Philosophy:

HD Coaching’s mission statement is: Regardless of background or experience, everyone is an athlete and we will help all athletes through clear goals and careful planning to realize their fullest potential and achieve their own High Definition Performance.

We feel that it is imperative to keep the coach-to-client ratio small. You will never find a coach working with 35-50 athletes like some of the major coaching companies out there. We believe a personal experience yields great results.

What is High Definition Performance?

High Definition Performance is when, through clear goals, careful planning, dedicated training and proper recovery, you are race ready with the ability to achieve the result for which you have worked so hard.

Clear Goals:

It is crucial that we set concrete goals in the beginning so that we know what we all are working towards. Without clear goals the training cannot be directed properly and can lead to stagnation or failure to improve. With clear goals there is little question to the “why” only to the “how.”

Careful Planning:

This is the “how.” Every single athlete is unique which is not properly addressed by “canned” training plans. Each person’s training plan and schedule will be unique to them and encompass their specific goals, unique athletic abilities, as well as address any physical or time-based constraints.

While it is true that any plan is better than none, one that is unique and specific will allow for the most adaptation and success in reaching personal High Definition Performance. We focus on the quality of the workout, not just big weekly hours for the sake of hours. Sometimes more is more, and sometimes more is too much.

Dedicated Training:

This is the athlete’s responsibility. A training blueprint can be the best in the world, but it is useless if it is not followed. A coach can advise, but only you can do the work.

Proper Recovery:

As important as it is to do the hard work, your body needs to rest just as hard. Rest and recovery help your body to adapt from the physical stresses of training. We believe that the true key to High Definition Performance is recovery from quality workout.
